Michigan's latest quarterly price book was released on August 2, bringing updated pricing, new listings, and distributor changes across thousands of products. Here's what stood out this month.
Proof Points
- 14 Michigan Made products saw price reductions. 0 had price increases!
- Dragon's Milk Origin Mead Cask Bl now claims the highest minimum shelf price for a spirit designated as being Made in Michigan at a price of $149.98.
- Svedka pricing jumps. 21 different 750mL products increased 33% while the 1,000 mL bottles increased ~25%.

1,812 new products since May's price book.
Biggest Price changes
- Tequila Ocho Extra Anejo 750mL saw a $70 increase
- Van Winkle Farm Reserve Rye 13yr 750mL also saw a $70 increase
- Dewars Double Double 32yr 375mL bottle saw a whopping -$355 decrease
Categories Worth Watching
There were 661 price decreases in this update. Miscellaneous Whiskey, Flavored Vodka, and Tequila categories had the most products with minimum retail price decreases.
451 products saw price increases. Flavored Vodka, Scotch, and Rum rounded out the top three categories seeing prices rise.
